Starting over

After a messy marriage breakup I lost a good credit rating that I had. When things began to settle and move on I saw an advertisement for vanquis so thought I'd apply. I was accepted by them with a limit of £1500. Over the years I paid always before due date and mostly a bit more than minimum payment. My limit had now increased considerably and my credit rating is now above average. They don't pester you to accept offers,uts entirely up to yourself. Reviewed on: 20th May 2026

Credit rating

Due to a really messy marriage breakdown my credit rating plummeted. I always had a very good rating for many years. Then Vanquis came along. They were able to pull me out of a financial abyss and now my rating has vastly improved!! Not perfect, but far better than it was. For people like myself who suddenly find themselves struggling financially and trying to get back on that ladder I would definitely recommend Vanquis. Thank you Reviewed on: 27th May 2023
