Incredibly supportive and kind

Going through debt management was something I really didn’t want to do (who does?) but when it became clear something had to change two people recommended Stepchange - my brother in law who is a business accountant, and one of the lenders I had when I rang about a missed payment. I was so so nervous - and it didn’t help I was diagnosed with cancer at the same time - but I have two say that every single person I spoke to was SO kind and SO helpful. I was never met with judgement or rushed off the phone. It made such a massive difference to me. I was also offered personal support such as the Samaritans and was regularly checked in with to see if I was doing ok mentally. What can I say! Stepchange has taken so much stress and pressure from me at a time when I needed it the most. Reviewed on: 7th July 2023
