Gave me tools and strength to make changes

Having had financial problems all my adult life, I didn't know how to get out of the cycle I was in. Step Change made it easy for me by talking me through every stage, supporting me with my budget planning, making it easy to face the debts I had. They have an online portal where I can check my progress and make budget changes. It's encouraged me to manage money better in general as I can see the benefits of getting in control of it all. My management of money has improved more in this last year than it did in years when I was trying to manage it all on my own. I'll be debt free in Feb 2024 and it's down to using Step Change. I'd have been paying them off for years longer otherwise. They're easy to contact and the staff are really helpful too. Reviewed on: 7th July 2023
