it saved my sanity

i have lots of health things wrong with me and i got myself in a lot of debt.when i got in touch with step change,i filled a form in,and my acc was set up and running very quickly.it felt like a huge weight had lifted from my whole body. i have thought about the state i was in with my finances,and realised that my problem started with my parents.being 1 of 8 children,we were brought up with debts.it was just the way it was in that era.that was my teaching about debt and how to manage it.i dont blame my parents for my debts,that is down to me.i wonder how many more adults in debt,have thought about where the majority of things start while they were just kids.we learn from our parents.i think thats worth a study,maybe. step change defo changed my life.they are amazing.peace to all.x Reviewed on: 8th July 2023
