Drowning in debt and very depressed.

I was drowning in debt and very depressed. I was spending to relieve the depression but each time the ‘buzz’ of spending was very short lived and of course adding to the already heavy burden. It was counter productive and a form of self destruction. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

One in a million!

A charity that’s a life saver! I couldn’t have wished for a more helpful service with the most understanding and supportive staff. They talked me through every aspect of my debt management, showing me there was a way out and I wasn’t alone. There was no judgement at all, just understanding and positivity that they could help me through one of the most difficult times in my life. I felt so disheartened and sad as though my world had ended before I rang them, now I feel in control and can see a way out. It will take me a long time to be debt free but at least I’m one step closer now and managing my money effectively, knowing help and encouragement is at the end of a phone if I need it.
