Best company

When I contacted step change I felt I was at my lowest point, I was scared that I'd be judged because of my debts. How wrong I was, the advisor was kind and understanding and made me feel at ease, we had an in-depth conversation and compiled all the information together, the advisor kept me informed at every point of what they were doing sent me emails to remind me of what I needed to do as, due to my poor health and surgeries my short term memory is the worst,. By the end of the consultation I was relieved and actually felt proud of myself as I was no longer burying my head in the sand. Step change send me a statement every month, my repayments are manageable, they even sent me template letters to send to the debtors that couldn't be included and they completed an application on my behalf to "breathing space" which, until my initial contact with the company, I knew nothing about! I have already recommended step change to friends and family, and for the first time in what feels like forever, I can see a distant light at the end of the very dark tunnel I was in.
