No problems, but a suggestion

In general, I have no problems whatsoever with Admiral as an insurer. They are professional and courteous, and I feel safe with them as my insurer. The only issue I have is with the telemetrics on the app; despite scoring gold for every single drive I do, I still get an overall score of silver/bronze. My job means I travel frequently as a passenger in other people's cars - I used to diligently change my status to "passenger" for those journeys, but this seems to make no difference, as these journeys are the only reason I can see for my score not averaging as gold. As a gold score would possibly bring my premium down, I feel slightly cheated that this process isn't as accurate as it could be and this could do with looking into. Reviewed on: 12th September 2025

Terrible customer service - avoid!

I was insured with this company before my current insurer and had to claim due to an accident in which I was hit by another driver in an incident which I was clearly not at fault for. The accident was in July 2018. I've only very recently seen the closure of the end of this case with the payout for personal loss and injury. I had to chase them the whole way through the claims process and my car was nearly disposed of by the initial recovery company as a result. I don't think I've ever been through so much stress in my life. I will never use this insurer again! Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

Overall, a good provider

They provide good cover and good customer service, but they are a little more expensive than I would like. I am also not sure about their telemetry app, as I consistently get "gold" rated drives, but my overall score is bronze; I don't understand how this can be the case. Reviewed on: 24th August 2024

I've had no problems with Admiral so far, but had to make a claim the other day, which has not yet been processed; I cannot give a true judgement because I don't know how easy this will be or how it will be handled.
