Account Closure

Had a M&S card now for over 2 years with a low Credit Limit of £1,000. My Experian credit rating is 979 out of 999. I have always paid my card within the time limit. I have recently put £145. 00 on it which is the only expenditure this month. Just had an email closing my account with no explanation. This has not caused any hardship and I have paid the card off in full, however this type of banking could put legitimate card holders in a serious financial position.
