Great in theory

Great idea in theory, different jars for spending and putting money away. Terrible when it comes to trying to spend your money. Card frequently declined in a local pub, can't be used at Costco fuel station or in Hays Travel to book a holiday (plenty of funds available each time). Apparently Costco and Hays are banned places and you're expected to memorise the list of types of places you can't use your card. Interestingly, HyperJar say you can use the card anywhere the Mastercard logo is (this simply isn't true). Definitely recommend if you want the hassle of having to transfer your money to other services to be able to spend it. Interestingly, HyperJar are now trying to get my review removed from another site as they say it's "not based on a genuine experience", which, I can guarantee you that it is. Obviously they're trying to silence anyone who doesn't praise them. Reviewed on: 22nd September 2023
