Review of the Aviva, Home Insurance:

Absolutely useless and a waste of money

During a localised storm my elderly neighbours ridge tiles were blown off his roof. Despite written evidence from several neighbours and the roofer of the storm and damage they accrued due to it Aviva have refused to pay out because a weather station 17 miles away said the wind speeds were not sufficient to be called a storm. He contacted the ombudsman who despite all the evidence provided decided to agree with aviva. They are obviously hand in glove allegedly. How photos of the damage, reports from neighbours of similar damage and trees blown down does not constitute sufficient evidence is beyond belief. BEWARE OF USING THIS COMPANY.
