Called to renew house and contents insurance but missed renewal date by 12 hours. Agent said I would need to complete another application. She told me to go to a comparison web site to get quotes. Called back in an hour to try and renew policy again. The agent also told me the same. Tried a compare site, got a price £££’s cheaper through a different company. Not sure how the agents win any commissions though.
