A calamity of errors trying to set up a child's bond.

A calamity of errors trying to set up a child's bond resulting in numerous phone calls to yourselves. Original application form received in branch on 29th Nov 2023, signed for and subsequently lost by yourselves. Traced over a month later after I had spent much time on many phone calls trying to find out what had happened to my documents and application. Calls cut off on several occasions resulting in me spending more time calling back and joining queue yet again. Calls made to your offices multiple times on at least 6 different days. Documents eventually traced and account set up by which time I had to buy duplicate birth certificate (still waiting for that cost to be reimbursed) and again original documents not returned to me until I called and asked for them to be returned. Duly received back last week addressed to the wrong person on the envelope. The admin of this building society I have experienced so far has been appalling. I have been promised a goodwill payment for the inconvenience of all of this which I am still waiting for and have spent yet more time this morning on the phone trying to find out when this will be paid....again the call dropped off after 15 minutes resulting in me calling again. I am now waiting for a call back from one of your advisors re current situation. The whole account set up has been time consuming and poorly managed. I have to commend your staff who have always been very polite on the phone especially Jean Paul Baya, Nicola Carey and Chi but their politeness cannot make up for the shoddy administration I have had to contend with.
