Review of the Newbury Building Society, Mortgages:

Impressive, knowledgeable and pragmatic.

We initially had a negative experience with one particular advisor who I found dismissive and unhelpful. However, after raising this I was really impressed with the speed with how my concerns were dealt. I spoke to two employees who were both pragmatic and empathic and dealt very quickly and efficiently with our query. After our new offer was issued, we had a few queries and even had to extend our offer a couple of times. The lady we dealt with was brilliant, answered emails quickly was knowledgable and prompt. There were other employees who assisted in the processing were also exceptionally helpful. Even the receptionists are helpful in directing questions. I’m really pleased we stayed with Newbury and fixed our mortgage for another few years. Reviewed on: 2nd February 2024
