Great for Beginners

As a novice investor I have found the InvestEngine platform a great low cost way to build my confidence as an investor. The online seminars and videos are extremely helpful as are the analytics for tracking ETF performance. There is also plenty of information available on the site to help with choosing suitable ETFs depending on your values, interests, risk profile and long term goals. As someone who prefers to manage my portfolio I would prefer real time information and for trades to be executed quicker but I find that despite this InvestEngine is great for people like me. I am impressed with the choice of ETFs available and the different market sectors I can now invest in. I find InvestEngine has been invaluable when it comes to getting up close and personal with my capital. I Reviewed on: 24th February 2025

The account was easy to set up and I was able to buy...

The account was easy to set up and I was able to buy my first ETFs within 24 hours of my account going live. As a first time investor I found the InvestEngine layout helpful, easy to navigate and informative with plenty of information about each ETF which was very helpful in terms of deciding where to invest in terms of potential cost, overlap between ETFs in order to avoid duplication, choosing between dividend income and ETFs that were more geared towards growth, There is a large range of ETFs so finding one or more to suit your risk profile, values and financial goals. I opted for DIY portfolio and found that the InvestEngine set up made it easy to rebalance. As a first time investor I liked the fact the I could start with a small sum to learn/practice with. My confidence, level of engagement with my investment grew throughout the first year and continues to grow. The customer service people are also friendly and helpful, which helps a lot with confidence building. Reviewed on: 9th February 2024
