Contactless Payment Limit

Had to speak to the Bank as my card had been rejected at contactless payments at various retailers despite there being funds in the account. The Adviser clearly talked me through why it had been rejected as there is a contactless monetary limit after which you need insert your card in the chip and pin and pay that way.. This is there to protect customer in the event of card being lost / stolen etc. I had not appreciated this but was directed to check the app. Very helpful adviser who provided comfort that this was there to protect customers.
