The Best British Bank - is American!

Since I've been banking with Chase (both current and savings accounts) I've found the experience to be mainly extremely positive. The main point of contact is the App of course, and this is clear and simple to use without being patronising. It's gauged just about perfectly. All the extras, like round ups, are very much appreciated too. Downsides: messaging staff can be a bit of a trial. More than once I've felt like I was dealing with a bad AI and on occassion had to challenge them on that. They are very slow and mechanical in their interactions. On the upside, they always resolve an issue - eventually - but it can test your patience. The App's only downside is constantly pushing 'Nutmeg'. I am not nor never will be in the market for share dealing so why can't I turn that off? Even Google lets me ask not to see an ad again so why not Chase, who are far more human. Despite these niggles, they are head and shoulders the best banking option in the UK right now, and have been since they launched. Overall I am very happy with them indeed.
