I can't fault Chase

I opened my account with Chase in 2022, and I can't fault them. The introductory 1% cashback on card spending is like free money, and adds up on your everyday spending. The app itself is so easy to use, if like me you have a savings account you can easily move money between the accounts. From a security perspective, Chase are faultless. I was making a fairly sizeable payment to a contractor; the app showed me a message to say the payment had been held, and that I should call them. I duly did, and bearing in mind this was at 10:45pm, I got straight through to someone. They asked me lots of questions about the company I was paying, and were able to verify that the company was a legitimate business. Less than 5 minutes on the phone, and the payment was completed. This gives me proper peace of mind, and I wonder why the 'big' UK banks can't deliver this level of service. Other significant benefits include no charges for using your card abroad, or withdrawing money. Again, I wonder why the UK banks are still in business with their extortionate international charges.
