Good Value for money - customer service is frustrating.

Chase do not seem to have a good system for giving customers information on their accounts. They send notifications that cannot be re-sent and customer agents cannot trace the content. Responses on their chat system are quick, but agents change within minutes and don't seem to read previous history or any query. Therefore account queries can be frustrating and turn to complaints quickly. The bank does give good value for money, but needs to provide cards for a second card holder and sort out their method for dealing with frozen cards. It is difficult to re-intate a card that has been locked due to a questionable transaction. It is not always possible to contact chase by a phone call whilst abroad. An alternative method for contact should be developed as it is worrying to have no access to cash on holiday. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024
