It really has been effortless with Chase. It's like an old fashioned account where you get paid to have an account, spend money on it, get to speak to actual people on the phone but all Digital and modern! 1% interest, 1% cashback, as long as you put £500 a month in(the celebration emoji to tell you you've qualified each month is quite cute by the way) and 5% on roundups to help you save without even noticing you're doing it. What's not to love? The app is very easy and intuitive to use, never had an issue with it. The alerts every time you use your card are quite comforting as, if someone had stolen your card and you didn't know, you'd be on the app suspending your card straight away as opposed to finding out you'd no money left a few days later. I have phoned them a couple of times to check entries and, unlike some other accounts I have, I got to speak to an actual person within minutes, someone who genuinely seemed interested and helpful instead of a depressed robot. On the downside account opening took a wee while as there was high demand but once it was up it was fine. Overall top marks, can't fault it. Reviewed on: 15th February 2024
