Review of the Chase Bank, Current account:

Best all-around current accounts with cashback.

I have been with Chase for about two years now, for which it was actually a great experience. I had online current accounts from other banks before. But they never really felt as complete for a current account as this one from Chase. Chase makes it easy to access current account online, by phone, but especially through the Chase phone app which makes it online banking easy with just a few taps. Through the app you can do everything what you expect of current account. I really like the way it shows you incomes and outgoings with phone notifications in real time, or how convenient it is the create additional accounts. You can easy it as your main account where you let you pay your wages in so you can setup fast direct debits and standing orders. The current account comes with a secure debit card with no printed number and a card number and pin code that you can change any time through your app that makes it ideal and safe for shopping online. And with each shopping you will get a good amount of cashback from your purchases that will add up quite a bit, which one my favorite features. Sure, the app is very secure and your first log on comes with a photo ID and selfie verification that will not take longer an hour, but after you can just sign in with your phone's face ID. The only few negatives that I have experienced are that the bank's brand here is relative new and therefore not everywhere recognized. Like your Post office might not be able recognize your bank card when you want to deposit cash into your account as of today yet. But Chase has let us know that soon that will change in future and that the brand will be more recognized and accepted everywhere. But beside that Chase has one of the best all around secure current accounts that offer great cashback on all your purchases. Reviewed on: 19th February 2024
