When I need credit my first thought is Paypal Credit.

I use Paypal whenever I can because that way no-one gets to know my bank account details or card details, number 1. Whenever I want to spread the cost of something I am purchasing my first choice is Paypal credit because it is so easy to set up and provided the repayment is settled by the due date there is 0% interest. There are various options too depending on your choice eg pay in 3 or spread a larger amount over 4 months. Either way it is 0% interest as long as you settle by the due date! It's so easy, so secure and so reliable without revealing your bank account details or debit or credit card details to anyone other than Paypal. Reviewed on: 12th April 2026

Opening our account online with Shawbrook Bank was straightforward as was the transfer of funds from our bank account into their One Year Fixed Rate ISA Bond with a market topping 5.1% interest rate. So pleased we did it! Reviewed on: 26th February 2024
