Kids’ understanding and independence

My kids had cash strewn around their rooms. Rather than treating it with value, it was more of a collectors’ item that they would squabble over and never have with them when they really needed it. HyperJar has totally changed their appreciation of money and we’re now able to have better conversations around saving, spending, and budgeting. We also don’t have cash being lost in their rooms, stolen by siblings, or argued over like we did - makes for easier parenting - and funds are always to hand if they choose to treat themselves.
