I was nervous when joining a community bank as I’d never used anything like it. I needn’t have been. I love the fact I can squirrel a little money away when I can afford to, and not access it instantly, so there’s no temptation to ‘borrow’ it. I’ve since opened a Christmas saver and a uniform saver too. My experience when using customer service recently was absolutely brilliant, they sorted my problem out very quickly and got my access to my account restored so I could carry on saving.
