Safety Feature costs £600 additional insurance premium

I got a quote for a new vehicle, total per month was going to be £40 inc protected no claims (they added £2 per month for this, even though I had asked for it in the comparison website). I said that we were going to have a tow bar fitted and also a rear parking camera (although the vehicle already had parking sensors). Both were to be fitted by the dealer. The monthly premium went up to £91 per month. How on earth can they justify that? I was so angry I hung up on them. Needless to say I didn't take up their rip off offer.
