The Newbury put things right - I'm impressed.

I had a very bad experience with the Newbury. They were very keen to resolve my issues fairly. They listened and agreed the areas where they had adversely affected the time it took to agree my mortgage and therefore the interest I had to pay the existing mortgage company. They refunded the extra I paid as well as some extra to say sorry. They decided to review a couple of policies that caused the problems. I like a company who listen to their customers and are willing to properly put things right. Reviewed on: 23rd April 2024

Worst remortgage I’ve ever experienced

I’ve remortgaged to new lenders around 30 times. I’ve never had such a bad experience. If I hadn’t been liable for such high interest rates on my existing mortgage, I would have gone elsewhere. I feel like I’ve been treated with suspicion and lack of care, you need to take a walk through your customer experience in the shoes of someone in my position and learn how to make it more customer centric!
