Small savings lead to big changes.

I have been with EKCU for a number of years now. When I first started I had no way of saving never mind borrowing for things that would improve my life. But thru small changes each month and learning how to save, I have been able to grow independently and do things through the years such as buy treats for my daughter growing up such as her phone then a computer &, have holidays together. These habits have grown over the years and I’ve then made bigger improvements making our lives better in last few years I even bought a new fitted kitchen. EKCU improves the lives of individuals through support of our community and I couldn’t be prouder to be a member of it. Reviewed on: 18th April 2025

Ekcu staff & volunteers go out of there way to cater...

Ekcu staff & volunteers go out of there way to cater to the local community. They are friendly knowledgeable and professional directing people to the best option of different savings accounts or loan opportunities to keep you increasing your savings rather than having to start over after a withdrawal. The volunteers continue working at times to suit the community opening to meet our needs not a business profit and they keep in touch by face to face meetings as their main focus but also allowing technology to help bring new younger members to the table with online access texts and social media, doings this is maximising savings to then offer more types of loan payments to our membership. They helped me keep my savings when I needed to have work done on my kitchen, when I thought I’d have to use it all after water damage. It was a released to know there where supportive staff to help me through the options the had. Reviewed on: 27th April 2024
