I was in a very dark place and swamped with debt .

I was in a very dark place and swamped with debt .I tried talking to my bank but the experience was very negative and I felt humiliated and distraught.A family member persuaded me to approach , step change which I felt at the time would make me feel like a total failure .how wrong I was the experience was really easy and I spoke to staff who were totally helpful.non judgemental ,friendly and understanding .The sense of relief I felt knowing there was a way to survive was beyond my dreams .I took on a debt management plan that was affordable and gave me back control.i could live with a realistic budget. I only have 8 more payments until I am debt free .I cannot rate steochange highly enough they literally saved my life .things had got that bad Reviewed on: 1st May 2024
