They changed my life 5**

I was in a terrible financial state in 2007 and it was seriously impacting my mental health. I didn't see any light at all and then I bit the bullet and contacted Stepchange. They understood my situation completely and a massive weight was lifted from my shoulders. They guided me through the process of setting up a Debt Management Plan and my life was transformed. I am so grateful to the wonderful, kind, helpful and understanding people at Stepchange. Don't put your head in the sand and try to struggle on by yourself like I did. Reviewed on: 7th May 2026

StepChange - a life saver

In 2007 I was drowning in debt. I couldn't see anyway out until I contacted StepChange (then Consumer Credit Counselling Service). I cannot praise them highly enough. Although I still have debt it is stable and since 2007 my anxiety is far lower. The advisors are kind, friendly, understanding and extremely helpful. Their website is easy to navigate too.
