Lifeline

Vanquis gave me a lifeline I one of the most difficult times of my life. I was stuck in a domestic abusive relationship that impacted all areas of my life, I could only work agency , flexi as I could not commit full time permanent. This then impacted me financially and unable to get credit. Vanquis was the only provider who gave me a chance and offered me £500 limited. When you have little this feel like alot. It really helped in emergency situations. One month after being brutally assaulted I had no money to pay my bull. I contacted vanquis to apologise and explain my situation and I remember how embarrassed I felt. They were so good to me and really empathise with my situation I got hold on account for a month. They also sent me a bouquet of flowers with a really warm message , I cried buckets. At a time in such distress to receive such a nice gesture and encouragement of support it helped me so much, I feel emotional writing this it takes me back to a darker time in my life when I was given very little support. And at the toughest times iys true whay they say any little helps. I still hold a vanquis card today 10 years on increase limit. Once I manage to flee my dv situation I was able to work full time and improve my financial wellbeing. Vanquis gave me a lifeline and I am forever grateful. Reviewed on: 1st May 2024
