Stepchange saved my life

Where do I start? I got into significant debt trying to resolve a health issue in the family. We could not get a diagnosis so we went private and it cost an arm and a leg but I did not care. Maxed out my credit card, got a loan to pay it off and then other loans to pay off the debts and lost a source of income. I then had debts I could not manage well and tried looking for a second job to supplement the income and failed to get one. I was at my wits end and did not know what to do and found StepChange online. Through tears I made an appointment, discussed my options and they helped me every step of the way. Improved my mental health, got me back on my feet and eventually started looking to the future. They saved my life because at a point, I had considered ending it all. Stepchange helped me through a very traumatic time in my life. I had bills to pay, a sick child and a wife that had to leave her job to look after our child which suddenly blew a huge hole in our finances. I could not sleep at night, tried getting another job and eventually got to a place where I contemplated horrible thoughts about ending it all. I do not even remember how I found Stepchange but I did and they supported me through the darkest moment in my adult life. Put a plan together and got on top of my debts and I could finally breathe again. They have made a huge difference in my life and truth be told, probably saved it.
