In Debt? The change is one Step away.

I had reached a point where my interest on credit card debt was so high that I couldn't work my way out of the situation, so at best I was only covering interest. I even had reached a point where I was failing to pay the minimum monthly payments. I had been in this situation for many years so my only regret is that I didn't know about Stepchange earlier. I could have recovered so much quicker but at least better late than never applied. It was the biggest weight off my shoulders I could ever have asked for. The help was amazing and the emotional and moral support priceless. Don't drown in silence because Stepchange are there to throw you a lifebelt and pull you to shore. You are not alone with debt problems. Stepchange will guide you through your darkest days and the light at the end of the tunnel will soon be visible. Reviewed on: 6th May 2026

I had struggled for years with debt and one day I just couldn't cope anymore. I was told to contact Stepchange and I immediately felt that I was rescued and had a team of people devoted to helping me. My biggest mistake was not contacting them earlier. They are angels.
