Sneaky

Called up to cancel a policy and receive a quote on a new car. Was told I to cancel the direct debit with the bank and policy was cancelled. Started receiving letters saying I owed them money. They are useless. Policy wasn't cancelled apparently and they won't hold their hands up and admit to the mistake now I'm having to contact the DVLA to get confirmation of when I sold my old car to get this backdated and cancelled. I also had one payment left on my previous policy and I called to change the payment date was told "Oh can't change it the system is down" which really means the girl either didn't know or couldn't be bothered finding out how to do it, which then resulted in the payment being missed the policy being cancelled and my premiums going up.
