I was in a right ol' pickle with my money.

I was in a right ol' pickle with my money. I'd got a credit card to pay off my credit card but ended up maxing that out and did the same again. I then ended up in a situation where I had too much debt and interest to be able to keep up with the payments. I was constantly getting letters which caused so much stress. I got in touch with payplan and they helped me set up a dmp with my creditors. I like that I was able to go through this via web chat as I was too anxious to speak on the phone. A year on and I feel so much better for their help. I am making affordable payments (I recently had to lower these a bit but payplan helped with that) and I can see the numbers which I owe going down. Also, I don't get letters from creditors coming through any more. My mental health is so much better for reaching out and getting help. Reviewed on: 16th May 2024
