Stepchange is a life changing company

Stepchange were a life changing company in regards to financial help. I had a Director level position within a company that had a multi million pound turnover, I was also racing as a semi-proffetional triathlete. Due to over training and a huge work load I contracted meningitis and was left learning to read, write and function in society again. I suffered from post traumatic asperger's and lost control of my personal financial management by running up depts on my credit cards and overdraft facilities. I managed this for over 8 years but struggled. I eventually spoke with my wife about my issues and we contacted Stepchange who were very understanding, confidential, helpful and reduced my monthly payments of around £1000 to £200 via a depth management plan that all of my creditors were onborad with. I cannot recommend Stepchange enough and I am certain they can help you know matter your situation. Reviewed on: 17th May 2024
