Fantastic organisation and DMP very useful for me

I came across StepChange in 2017 when I was unemployed and had significant debt. I spoke to a rep and informed them of my situation and how I was unable to apply for bankruptcy due to my intended career. They were very helpful on the call and introduced me to DMP. I started with very small monthly payments whilst unemployed and this went up when I got a job or promotion. I got a default on my account which lasted for 6 years but I was fine with that because the DMP meant I didn’t have to worry too much about money. I made my final payment recently and although it was a long journey. I’m glad it’s been dealt with. Would highly recommend StepChange and their DMP process Reviewed on: 18th May 2024
