Revolut is so easy to use and manage, much better than a high street bank for everyday spending. Sending money to friends or family is so easy and stress free. Travelling is made easier with fast exchange and multiple currencies available on the app to spend in. Travelling to eurozone countries is so easy and for a regular traveller back to Ireland it makes it cheaper than using my high street bank for spending abroad. Reviewed on: 19th January 2026

I have had an excellent experience with Revolut as I use it for my every day spending and it makes it easy for me to account for how I have spent, send me notifications of how much I have left in case I need a top up. Convenient everyday banking with a few limitations

I’ve been using Revolut as my personal account for everyday spending and international transactions, and overall it’s been a positive experience. The app is very easy to use, with a clean interface and helpful features like instant notifications, spending analytics, and the ability to manage cards directly from the app. Currency exchange rates are competitive, which makes it especially useful for travel and online purchases in different currencies. I also appreciate how quick it is to send and receive money, and the security features such as freezing cards instantly give extra peace of mind. Setting up the account was fast and mostly hassle-free. That said, customer support can sometimes be slow to respond, especially when dealing with more complex issues. Some useful features are also locked behind paid plans, which may not be ideal for everyone. Overall, Revolut is a solid choice for modern, app-based banking, particularly if you travel frequently or want good control over your finances, but there’s still room for improvement in support and transparency around paid features.
