Yonder is what Amex should now aim to be.

I started using Yonder recently as I felt Amex is losing its game with points and becoming quite stale in providing value for money. Yonder... Yonder is a really nice rewards credit card and the app is very well designed. I find it quite good in terms of the points I have accumulated so far and hopefully will be able to utilise it towards a good holiday or flights. Customer service is very prompt and easy to work with. Biggest challenge would how much of this can Yonder sustain or will it change their point system in future and provide less value for money. Beware: Issues arise when facing fraudulent activity

Don't be misled by their marketing claims suggesting they are a superior alternative to the American Express credit card. Despite paying an annual fee under... Don't be misled by their marketing claims suggesting they are a superior alternative to the American Express credit card. Despite paying an annual fee under the assumption that additional services such as purchase protection would provide value, you'll find little assistance when faced with fraudulent activity. Instead of resolving the issue satisfactorily, all they can offer is adherence to MasterCard rules and a request for payment towards the fraudulent charges in a manner that lacks urgency and empathy. Given their reluctance to provide assistance to customers during fraudulent activity, I am not convinced that their other services will offer timely support. Read more Read less

    From the moment I signed up, the process was smooth and successful. I did experience a hiccup with connecting to my bank however Yonders customer... I did experience a hiccup with connecting to my bank however Yonders customer service was amazing in getting the problem sorted out straight away. Even after they did resolve, they checked in to make sure that everything had worked out well and that I could continue the process smoothly.     First credit card that actually works for me to an extend I'm paying a monthly fee. Everything about Yonder is great: fantastic sign-on experience, outstanding... Everything about Yonder is great: fantastic sign-on experience, outstanding customer support through app and through Slack channel, premium looking card, lots of passive benefits coming with card (insurance, AVIS 30% discount etc) and of course the curated experiences which I use A LOT.
