Good value for basic cover Generally easy although the customer service can occasionally be a little slow. Didn't quibble over a claim and paid out quickly. Reviewed on: 5th March 2026

Agria Pet Insurance have made a real difference!

5
I hadn't heard of Agria Pet Insurance when my niece recommended them to me. We had always chosen a premium Pet Insurance company and stayed well clear of budget ones. When the company we were with stopped supporting responsible dog breeding, it left us vulnerable to unexpected veterinary costs. I was so pleased and relieved that Agria support responsible dog breeding. They have a clear understanding of the relevant issues that breeders might encounter and are most supportive. Thank you its made a real difference. Reviewed on: 12th September 2020

Good pet insurance

5
Most pet insurances take money yet never pay out when you need help , Agria are a decent insurance company and paid out when my Ragdoll was sick as a kitten, they were extremely helpful to me on the phone and empathetic too as I hadn’t had my kitten long when she fell ill , I would highly recommend this insurance company for good customer service and honesty and keeping their promise in what they cover Reviewed on: 12th September 2020

Ringo woes

5
Our pup Ringo had a rough beginning to his time in his forever home. After countless visits to the vets and being continually mis-diagnosed to the point we were told Ringo was a drama queen and play actor, we soon questioned our little pups behaviour. He was being treated for ear infections, then it was teething, then it was blamed on the heatwave we were experiencing at the time, then finally we were told it was all an act by the little guy.A week later he was back at the vets. This time we told them that it wasn’t an act and in fact we thought it was extremely serious. He was left in the hands of our vet.A short time later we were called and were advised to take our clearly distressed puppy to The small animal hospital in Glasgow. A three night stay in the hospital followed.Ringo was diagnosed with meningitis to the spine. The following two weekends after were spent at the hospital for treatment and testing of our little guy.The medication he was placed on just didn’t seem right somehow. So many different pills for a three month old puppy to have to be taking. However, after loads of TLC and plenty of rest Ringo surprised us all by eventually making a full recovery Reviewed on: 12th September 2020
