Since then our dog has died, they ignore emails and have continued to take monthly payments by direct debit. This is a terrible company to deal with with no compassion. I’ve been with them for the second year now. My first claim (under £200) was approved, but as soon as the costs increased, they found... I’ve been with them for the second year now. My first claim (under £200) was approved, but as soon as the costs increased, they found reasons to decline, even though it was clearly part of the same ongoing claim. My policy explicitly covers pre-existing conditions, yet they are refusing to pay on the grounds that my cat has never been “clear of pre-existing symptoms” – despite my vet confirming that my cat has not been treated for this. Their reasoning is based only on the fact that we purchased a food supplement from the vet, which is not a valid justification under the policy. This feels like a deliberate attempt to avoid paying legitimate claims. I feel scammed and will be escalating this matter to the Financial Ombudsman and other relevant channels. Read more Read less
