Credit union have been brilliant with me, I’ve applied for loans a few times over a couple of years and always been accepted, the service is fast when applying for a loan, if you don’t get accepted for the loan you wanted they sometimes lower the amount so you can receive a loan, I’ve recommended to a few friends and they have had the same service as I’ve had, the staff are lovely. 10/10 Reviewed on: 11th May 2026

Help and support

I became a member in 2023 and took out a loan, then in early 2024 was diagnosed with cancer, My finances took a hit and I buried my head in the sand and missed payments, once I realised I needed to sort my finances the team at Cambrian credit were understanding and helped support me to restart payments, I only wish I’d contacted them sooner, I’m now one payment away from clearing my dept, thank you Reviewed on: 11th May 2026

I have been with Cambrian for a while now had some very hard times during this I lost my dad last year and they were so understanding, they went above and beyond to help with my payments and to makesure I was ok I was offered barevement council king if I needed it , everybody couldn’t of been more helpful it a fantastic company and nothing is to much effort for the staff Reviewed on: 10th May 2026

Easy and straightforward process

From start to finish the whole process was very straightforward. The agent that processed my application was friendly and very helpful and explained everything in an easy to understand way and didn’t try to bamboozle by using unhelpful jargon. Excellent service

I have always experienced very polite pleasant kind caring staff, happy to help in anyway they can. I was very emotional one day, and the staff asked if I needed to chat, and have a cup of tea. Amazing staff, highly recommend them. So glad I am a memeber. Reviewed on: 9th May 2026

The staff are always very helpful.

The staff are always very helpful. They explain everything very clearly. Its nice to speak to a real person that is relatable. The whole Credit Union System is very reasonable. Its easy to call & make adjustments etc. They are very communicative, helpful, reasonable, cooperative, responsive & accessible. Imagine if all financial institutions where to work this way. Excellent and friendly customer service

I was struggling to pay off various bills and this I’m turn was giving me a lot of grief. Louise was very helpful and managed to sort out a loan so I could pay the debts off with an affordable monthly payment. Now I’m happy knowing my financial situation is improving.
