Since joining the bank just over a year ago (which was a great experience) it’s been disappointment after disappointment. The interest offered on savings has... Since joining the bank just over a year ago (which was a great experience) it’s been disappointment after disappointment. The interest offered on savings has dipped twice and is no longer competitive, Chase STILL don’t offer credit cards or mortgages, and now in January (2025) the bank misappropriated customer funds and had to issue an apology. Chase National Bank was formed in 1877 by John Thompson and later became Chase Manhattan Bank in 1955. In 2000, Chase Manhattan merged with JPMorgan & Co, to form today's JPMorgan Chase. Chase launched in the UK in 2021 after servicing over 56 million US customers.
