A good company to deal with

Clear instructions and an easy application to make online. The rates compare favourably with other companies which I would consider. One phone call I had to make a good time ago showed I could speak to a real person who knew what they were talking about and answered my question without making me feel I was an idiot or even a novice saver online. Good rate - mechanics could be better

The website is a bit clunky. I don’t like having to log on using a really non-memorable long number, rather than my email address or a username I choose myself. There doesn’t appear to be an app, which I use for all my other banks and prefer. I don’t understand why withdrawals don’t arrive until the next business day - withdrawals from competitors occur very quickly with Faster Payments. The good thing is the interest rate, which is why I opened this account. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025

The savings rate is great...However,

The savings rate is great...However, I do not like the fact that you can only make one transaction per day. I also do not like the fact that it takes until the following day for any transactions, even Faster/BACS payments etc to to show on the account. Finally, I am unable to change the payee details on my other banking apps when transacting with Chetwood IE if I want to show a specific name for a transaction, I can't seem to be able to do this.
