Good rate - mechanics could be better

The website is a bit clunky. I don’t like having to log on using a really non-memorable long number, rather than my email address or a username I choose myself. There doesn’t appear to be an app, which I use for all my other banks and prefer. I don’t understand why withdrawals don’t arrive until the next business day - withdrawals from competitors occur very quickly with Faster Payments. The good thing is the interest rate, which is why I opened this account. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025

The savings rate is great...However,

The savings rate is great...However, I do not like the fact that you can only make one transaction per day. I also do not like the fact that it takes until the following day for any transactions, even Faster/BACS payments etc to to show on the account. Finally, I am unable to change the payee details on my other banking apps when transacting with Chetwood IE if I want to show a specific name for a transaction, I can't seem to be able to do this. Customer friendly to operate.

It is very easy to set the account up and to use it. I have invested and withdrawn money very easily after the usual security checks. The interest rate is very competitive. Reviewed on: 22nd January 2025

Excellent rate with Chetwood Bank

I used Chetwood Bank as they were giving the best interest rates for Fixed Rate Bonds & Easy Access Accounts. There is always a person on the end of the line to help you after answering your security questions if you are worried about anything to do with your money. Thats plus having someone to speak too. Straightforward experience

Whilst there are some developments that could be made to the online experience that would make it slightly easier, I have had no issues accessing my information and transacting with my account; and the interest rate was one of the best in the market at the time I took out my product.
