All the fancy marketing and eye-catching headline rates hold little sway when you need some good, old-fashioned customer service, and that's where with Chip, there... All the fancy marketing and eye-catching headline rates hold little sway when you need some good, old-fashioned customer service, and that's where with Chip, there is very little to be had. All interaction is pushed via the in-app messaging feature which turns out to be just a 'bot telling you to expect a response in around 2 days. In today's always-on world of electronic finance, that simply is not good enough. Add this to a busy interface that obfuscates the simple tasks, Chip becomes a hard "pass" from me.     Lack of privacy

    When connecting my bank account to CHIP it wants access to my banking transactions for the last few years. This is surely social profiling?
