To me, they behave like scammers. You can buy an expensive watch and if their supplier sends you a toothbrush (obviously an item you didn’t... To me, they behave like scammers. You can buy an expensive watch and if their supplier sends you a toothbrush (obviously an item you didn’t order) they will expect you to pay for the watch even though they know it’s not the item ordered otherwise they will send in collection agencies. No understanding if you hit a rough patch!!! They will keep your account up and won't let you delete it but won't ever let you... No understanding if you hit a rough patch!!! They will keep your account up and won't let you delete it but won't ever let you use it again, even after repaying after a rough patch. Why can I not delete my account if I will never be allowed to use it? I don't want you having my details anymore!!! In my case I left my abusive ex and had to start from scratch with my kids so money has been extra tight and did not pay straight away. I paid it off a while ago and they had it blocked for ages with NO EXPLANATION. Nevermind there are plenty of better companies. Enjoy your bad review and goodbye!!! Read more Read less

    Fraudulent practices!

    It seems Clearpay manipulates reviews! Reporting them to Trading Standards and The Financial Ombudsman! Tried to open an account and was told I had an... It seems Clearpay manipulates reviews! Reporting them to Trading Standards and The Financial Ombudsman! Tried to open an account and was told I had an account 5 years ago and an outstanding balance of 49£, 22! Emails with them, hours of messaging back and forth and trying to sort this and repay the debt I didn’t know I had with them, being made to believe I can then use their services again. But low and behold, once I paid this, I got a message saying they will NEVER offer me their services again! Imagine the cheek! Their fraudulent tactics to get me to pay will absolutely be reported!     Absolutely rubbish company. Admittedly I was late paying my balance but cleared it in full under the assumption my services would be restored (in black... Absolutely rubbish company. They will take the money and then close your account for ever! Customer service didn't want to know despite me threatening them with watchdog due to false / misleading information.
