A truly flexible way of saving.

The Regular Savings Account offers a truly flexible savings method, that can be opened with as little as a £, allowing a regular saving facility into which you can set up a amount to be saved from £ to whatever you can afford. It offers the convenience of an app/online self service portal. You can also adjust the amount at any time to suit your cash flow and stop payments and close your account at anytime. As a credit union member you are paid an annual dividend based on the credit unions profits instead of an interest rate to make your savings work harder for you. I have found this an excellent way of getting back into the savings habit in difficult financial times. Reviewed on: 24th May 2024

An Investor's Perspective

I invested a relatively small lump sum some years ago in response to a call by the then Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham for people to support the then Notts Credit Union. Despite the low rate of return on this investment I have been happy to leave it invested as a small contribution to enable the Credit Union to continue to support those borrowers who need its services.
