Very good insurance company for the Classics and more unusual cars.

Just one phone call and all set up for my Chevrolet Suburban after finding it very difficult to find an Insurance Company to cover it. Then very easy to renew it online. Reviewed on: 19th September 2017

Exemplary First Class Service and Outstanding Value

I have dealt with many general and motor insurance companies over the last 25 years in various forms. Sadly High Street brokers have all but disappeared, the personal and friendly service they provided has now been transferred to a faceless internet application system. On phoning Footman James, you are immediately put at ease by their insurance consultants. The lady I dealt with was very friendly and professional. At no time did I feel she was following a script or a flow chart. That said, I am aware there there is a legal structure that needs to be followed and this was done. All my questions was answered in a polite manner and the jargon was explained in plain English. I couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and stress free service. The icing on the cherry was their quote. This was substantially lower than my existing provider and was on better terms. I wish I had found Footman James a lot sooner. I have no hesitation in recommending them and have in fact passed their details to three of my friends already. You really cannot go wrong in contacting them for a quote, and to see how friendly an insurance broker should be. Reviewed on: 8th September 2017

Amazing Claims Proceedure

On Tuesday my vehicle was reversed into by a van On Wednesday and engineer came to assess the damage and wrote it off. On Friday the money was in my account, so I could begin repairs. They were sympathetic throughout and there were no nasty surprises in my renewal the next year Reviewed on: 7th September 2017
