About this product

GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

My daughter has been using her gohenry card for a few years now. In her mid-teens, she is already much more au fait with managing her pocket money, birthday money and other 'income streams' from one-off chores to babysitting than I was at her age. That's because not only does gohenry provide her with the platform to manage all of this - for us to pay her pocket money and top it up if she has completed specified jobs or done extra well at something - but also given her the medium through which she can readily see and track how much she is spending and where (some surprises to her!) as well as saving towards her own goals. All in all, it's a fab little app that gives us, her parents, peace of mind on her development around money and her the mechanism to learn how she wants to manage it. Finally, I've recommended it to several friends and family and only ever get good feedback from them too. Reviewed on: 18th January 2021
