GoHenry offer prepaid accounts for children.

There is a fee for using these accounts, you can choose from three GoHenry memberships. Everyday is a debit card and app, Plus includes interest on savings and max is a family plan. Kids can learn through Money Missions in their GoHenry app.

The app has been great and introduced to our two girls during lockdown. They have loved being able to earn their own money through tasks and building some savings giving them something to look forward to after lockdown. They are learning about money, savings and feel grown up being able to buy and save for their own things but with all the safety the app offers. Brilliant Reviewed on: 18th January 2021

I love this app/website. Not only does it allow you to manage pocket money saving.It’s a great way to show your child how to earn money in small ways for rewards. It’s something fun you can do together when deciding little tasks and it’s so rewarding for both of us. My favourite bit is seeing my little girl independently buying herself a little treat from the local shops, happily announcing, “No need for you to tap your card mum, I have my own”. Thank you. A FANTASTIC way for your kids to really learn about money!

It has honestly been a game-changer for us as a family. Dealing with cash was clumsy and we'd end up taking it back when they bought something online anyway - and we never had the right amount lying around. It was a nightmare. GoHenry - wow! The kids LOVE having their own cards, their own balances, being able to set savings goals (my 10-year-old was super ambitious with his and set up chores to earn more to make it happen sooner). They LOVE the sense of control, have learned that once it's spent, it's spent, and that saving can be a fabulous thing even if it's tough at the moment when you see something small in a shop you want ;-) It's BRILLIANT. AND the giftlinks? SOOOO easy for grandparents, aunts, uncles etc. I WISH when I was young something like this existed - reckon I would have been a bit better with my money in my twenties!
