The best decision we made as parents was to get our son a gohenry account. He is learning to achieve his goals, save up for what he really wants and has taught him a lot of responsibility of how to look after his card and how to use it. How to work with money too. Fantastic app for kids banking

Easy to set up, gives kids indépendance and visual exposure to how far their money goes. Love the cap you can set and also the fact I can stop them using their card online unless I turn it on. It does cost each month but I think to have the background control to stop the kids blowing every penny in an instant is worth it. My kids are 13 and have cards since they were 9.
